| Minutes of Meeting | Meeting started with declaration of voting result for Annual Nomination Committee Election. Following Rotarians have secured victory in the election: 1. Chairman: Rtn. PP. Dhananjay Hirve 2. Rtn. PP. Abhay Bhise 3. Rtn. PP. Pushkaraj Mulay 4. Rtn. Vivek Kulkarni 5. Rtn. PP. Dr. Prabhakar Mahajan All Congratulated to the winners! After the declaration, PE Rtn. Ajay Kale proposed that there is a need for permanent representation of women Rotarians on the nomination committee, so that more women can be encouraged to participate in core Rotary events and administration. This will also help in promoting women in Rotary Leadership, and programs administration. PP Rtn. Abhhey Bhise, PP Rtn. Dhananjay Hirve and Secretary suggested that Bye Laws will need to be amended for that. Rtn. Hirve then instructed to pursue the matter through BOD further. Upon a further suggestion, consensus of all the those present was asked and all unanimously voted in favour of the suggestion. The Admin team will now put Bye Law amendment proposal in BOD, for further process. President took further took review of last week activities & Secretarial announcements were done by Secretary Milind. President informed about installation of Rotaract club. All appreciated efforts of Youth Director Rtn. Kalesh. Rtn IPP Milind Kulkarni then appealed on behalf of Rotaract Club of Katraj to generously donate old clothes for the project for poor and destitute. Rtn. Abhhey Bhise then requested for announcement and informed that Ann Smitha Bhise suffered heart attack and was treated in hospital and now is stable. All consoled him in support and wished fast recovery. Then traditional aukshan of Birthday Boys & Girls (PP Hirve, President and First Lady, Rtn Sushma and Pandit Palange, Anna Santosh Katre) was done by Ann Madhavi Tambay & Rtn Chitra Kulkarni. After this, Secretary Milind Patil conducted a brief interview of all Birthday of those and questions were asked about their entry in Rotary and inviting their suggestions on Rotary administration and also with some interesting questions on their life journey. Vote of thanks was proposed by Rtn. Suneel Tambay. All members enjoyed tasty fellowship by Rtn Sushma and Anna Pandit Palange |
