| Minutes of Meeting | The meeting commenced with the national anthem after being called to order by the President. All guests were welcomed with flowers on behalf of the club. President Mr. Vijay Goregaonkar explained the purpose of starting the Interact Club at Annasaheb Sahastrabuddhe Tribal Ashram School and thanked the school administration and principal for their support. The newly established Interact Club's Board of Directors (BOD) members were called to the stage, where Youth Chair of Zone 1B, Mr. Amit Pujari, pinned the members and administered the oath. The induction ceremony for the new office bearers was completed during the meeting. Mr. Vinayak Shinde, Chief Executive of the Kushtharog Nivaran Samiti Shantivan, along with Mrs. Kranti Patil, the Principal, expressed their thoughts and thanked members of the Rotary Club of Panvel Sunrise, urging them to engage in various activities for the personality development of the students. The newly elected Vice President expressed her thoughts, followed by the Secretary who offered thanks. Club Secretary Mr. Rupesh Yadav made the secretarial announcements and acknowledged the attendees, after which the club president declared the meeting adjourned. The special meeting was conducted by Past President Mr. Balakrishna Ambedkar. |

| Minutes of Meeting | RCPH Meeting RCPH Urgent Meeting MOM. Date: 6th December 2024 Location: Online Time: 6 pm Agenda: Discuss and find solution for renewing the Rotary Int'l Membership. Attendees: Rotarians Nisrin Badshah, Mohammed Badshah, Shabbir Poonawala, Hemant Murarka, Shabbir Nalwala, Rashida Ansari, Suhail Ansari, Ilyas Hussain, Hema Bellad and Gulu Jagan. Agenda Notes: 1. The termination of the membership by Rotary International was discussed. It was found that since the District Dues were given priority for payment the RI dues got delayed. 2. It was remarked by Rtn. Rashida that we operate hand to mouth every year and this chain has to be broken. We need to create some corpuses say 10K per member or have a fund raiser event. It was decided to discuss this matter immediately in the next meetings. 3. Rtn Nisrin informed that accounts have been provided by the Treasurer, and it will be posted in the group. 4. Rtn. Badshah read out the account statement. To summarise, all the members have paid their last year dues. Which was a revenue of 114'000/- The total expenses were 89'866/- Cash in hand with Treasurer 10'000/- So total amount with the Club is 34'134/- 5. The outstanding dues of USD 721.73 equivalent @ INR 61347/-. So, if the members pay up the next year's dues immediately, we can avoid paying the reinstatement charges of USD 30 + 18% GST per member, if RI payment is done before the 10th December. 6. Most of the members present in the meeting confirmed that they will pay the 2025 dues immediately. In which case Rtn. Shabbir Poonawala will make the NEFT payment tomorrow that is Saturday morning. 7. Rtn. Nisrin will follow up with the members for this payment. 8. It was decided to make personal calls to all members so that at least for the next meeting we have a full quorum. Otherwise as pointed out by Rtn. Badshah it is the same handful of members who attend the regular meetings. 9. Regarding the DG visit, it was decided to hold only a high tea event. 10. The meeting adjourned with a decision to close the RI issues on priority. 11. Rtn Gulu who joined late was apprised about the discussions by Rtn. Nisrin. |

Abhay D. mentioned that he has visited the village Arvi twice and that in spite of heavy rainfall, the area has water table about 400 ft deep because the soil cannot hold water. From three feet itself, the rocks start. The Sarpanch and others are ready for RTRWH. There are some 40 odd MSMEs in and around the area which are also willing to contribute funds. RC Wisdom is willing to be a partner. For this, we will need concrete structures whether the installation can be done. It was agreed that we need to call a meeting with the agency which has done preliminary work for project report and understand exact situation in the area before deciding on it. Once this is done, we can work out the financial implications and take the call. b. For waterless toiles also more clarity is required. |
