Minutes of Meeting	On the 3rd of February PDG Dr. Deepak Shikarpur shared with us, some of the lighter moments of his journey, right from his days as a Rotaractor up to his role as the District Governor. As Indians on the average speak at least three languages, though not all fluently, translation from one to another can result in some hilarious results. What followed thereafter were Deepak’s many anecdotes of miscommunication and misinterpretation at Rotary meetings in India and overseas that kept the audience in splits for the next thirty minutes or more. His experiences with people from the rural and urban areas added flavour to the narration and many in the audience could relate to similar experiences in their own lives. The meeting had begun on an earnest note with the Chairman of the ‘Ultimate Move-A-Thon’ PP Jaideep Parekh calling all members to participate actively in the forthcoming fund-raising event for which the countdown had already begun. He had been keeping the members abreast with all developments and preparations were ardently underway. PDG Deepak Shikarpur’s humorous talk ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Rtn Vaijayanti after which all proceeded for the mini fellowship.
