RCP Lokmanyanagar gave a huge boost to the medical facilities at Maharashtra Aarogya Mandal’s Sane Guruji Hospital in Hadapsar. Cleanmax Solar Pvt Ltd., Mumbai donated an Oxygen generation plant of 250 litres/min capacity, through their CSR initiative this month of June 2021. The entire project cost came to @Rs. 60 lacs where the CSR grant covered everything from procurement from USA, Customs clearances, transport to hospital, foundation laying, installation of the machinery and commissioning of the plant. Important to note that this entire activity from concept to execution was completed in a record time of just 3.5 weeks.

Dr Madhura Vipra, RCPL’s Director, Medical Service projects for the Rotary year 2020-2021 and PN for the Rotary year 2022-2023, arranged for the biggest ever medical project of RCP Lokmanayanagar. The project happened just in time when the second wave of Covid-19 created havoc in India. This plant which generates 250 litres of oxygen per min will help hundreds of beneficiaries through the coming two decades. The hospital caters to a large rural population and this plant will serve those who need it the most.

PP Ravi Vipra was instrumental in getting this project from his company as part of its CSR grant. This project is among the largest projects in District 3131 and is specially appreciated by DG Rashmi Kulkarni.
