SUKANYA is our ongoing project. Last 5 years we are doing this in different schools in PCMC area. We check hemoglobin of the girls and if the find anemic we provide them iron tablets for three months. after medication we recheck them. It has proved that the HB count increases. Till last year we covered 25000 girls from different schools and colleges. we covered more than 40 schools in this area. This year we planned to check 5000 girls. This year we started the project on 10th July, and we completed our target in the month of January. We completed HB checkup of 5150 girls from various schools and colleges.
