Dear Rotarians and Anns: Manavya is an NGO situated about 12 kms from Pune in Village Bhugaon and is a home for nursing, caring and sheltering orphaned and destitute children and women afflicted by HIV/AIDS. Manavya believes in the holistic approach of the development of such children & women. Presently they have 65 children and 12 ladies. Last Saturday, on 21st April, 2012, we handed over a new BUS to Manavya. This bus is required to bring the children to Sassoon hospital for check up, etc. When asked what they wanted to do first…the children replied ..…we want to go to Mahabaleshwar for a picnic!! The joy and happiness on the children\'s faces made this project worth its weight in gold. Following rotarians/anns attended the handover programme - Mohan Dayal, Prabha Dayal, BMK Sethi. Achla Sethi, Nitin Joshi, Sandesh Savant, Suryakant Nashikkar, Kapil Sedani, Jay Jangada and Self. The Guest of Honour was IPDG Rtn. Pramod Jejurikar.
