On 15th August RCPD celebrated the independence day by distributing Jaipur foots to handicapped people in association with the Rotary club of Kolhapur Midtown and Sane Guruji hospital. "It's quite easy to give a piece of advice" warned Mr Deshmukh to Shabbirbhai. Mr Deshmukh (age 72) of Chakan had lost his foot when he was 9 year old. He had earlier tried a prosthetic twice and was fed up of trying yet another again. With a little exchange of humorous anecdotes, he left smiling with an assurance that he will return after two months with the feedback of the prosthesis received today. 34 recipients received Jaipur Foot in the camp at Sane Guruji hospital today. There were few new registrations whose measurements were taken today. Our partners RC Kolhapur midtown have assured to give 50 more limbs free of charge.
