Rotary Club Of Pune Ganeshkhind (RCPG) carried out a service project for distribution of school uniforms to the needy students of Shishu Vihar Primary School situated in the Savitribai Phule Pune Vidyapeeth campus on July 7, 2017. Also, a tree plantation initiative was carried out here on this occasion. School uniforms were distributed to a dozen needy students in the primary section of the school. Happy students received the donation with great gratefulness. The school authorities also cooperated and worked closely with the RCPG members towards this cause. RCPG has been associated with the Shishu Vihar Primary School from the year 2016-17 when an Early Act Club was established here by RCPG in January 2017. The teachers and students have showed a keen interest in the projects taken up by the Club at the school. On this occasion, the club also planted about five Neem trees in the school premises. The students participated in the tree plantation with enthusiasm.
