Lpg gas based technology implemented at Amardham in association with Panvel City Municipal Council for cremating dead bodies with out leaving any carbon foot print. Gas fired cremation is a unique technology developed by our Rotarians Prakash Shringarpure and Dr. Bhagwan Joshi. This technology saves 400 kgs of wood - almost 2 fully grown trees are saved per session of cremation. 2100 bodies have been cremated using this facility till date. Every year average 350 bodies are cremated, which means 700 fully grown trees are saved every year using this facility.
