YMC Memorial hospital is a large hospital in Pimpri, Pune managed by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The hospital has a large gynecological and maternity wards with over 80 beds for these wards. Mainly economically disadvantaged & lower middle class mothers opt for the treatment and child delivery at this hospital. Paucity of budget and governmental grants deprived the hospital from having adequate numbers of Photo-therapy machines. Rotary Club of Pune Pashan donated 3 such machines from donations received from members. At least 2 more machines are planned to be donated later in the current Rotary Year.
