26-11-2017 - 26-11-2017

This competition is held in Pune every year during November and December (1st Round: 26th November, 2nd Round: 3rd December and 3rd Round: 17th December 2017). The first two rounds are written exams and third round is Final Quiz round, live on the stage in front of large number of audience. The winners get rewarded with cash prize certificates and trophies and also cash prize from GAM. This year we have created an additional option of giving the 1st Round Exam. Online. The Written Exam. option is also available. The Written Exam will be held in the NMV Gilrs High School, Off Tilak Road on the 26th November 2017. The Competition actually helps students in their preparation for Board exam. 1st reason is that the portion / syllabus for the Olympiad Competition being the same, the competition automatically serves as a total revision of their syllabus and that too from different angle / perspective. This competition is of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) type. Hence on the same syllabus, the type of questions force the student to not only think ”out of the box” but also to THINK FAST. This helps them to tackle the ‘HOT’ questions in Board exam because now their speed of thinking as well as type of thinking gets developed. Long Term Impact - Frankly, increased scoring in the 10th Board exam is a very small / short term impact of the Olympiad Competition. The long term impact of this competition develops their objective thinking, analytical skills and their ability to think out of box. This again helps them in all further competitive / objective exams like IIT / Engineering entrance tests, MBA / CA entrance tests
