On the occasion of World Breast Feeding Day. Rotary Club of Daund organized Breast feeding awareness & Breast Cancer Program for women. Dr. Vrunda Karekar renowned Gynecologist from Pune & from Daund Dr. Sangeeta Gaikwad well known Gynecologist, both of them invited for proper guidance. Dr Vrunda Karekar spoke about Breast Feeding, its importance to mother & her baby , how its helpful in increasing immunity , as well as how its reduces risk of cancer & she also emphasized about diet during lactation period. Dr. Sangeeta Gaikwad spoke about Breast Cancer & self examination of Breast for early detection of Breast cancer , she emphasized on regular health checkup & how its helpful for reducing the risk as well as proper treatment . At the last she spoke about exercised, Yoga , pranayam, walking as well as healthy diet. After the lecture conducted HB detection camp by RC Daund in association with Bhangale Pathological Lab of all beneficiary women’s.
