SANIVATION 2017 was hosted on behalf of District 3131 at Yashada Institute Pune. It was a 2 day conference on the occasion of World Toilet Day. The conference was inaugurated by the Mayor of Pune Mrs. Mukta Tilak and DG Abhay Gadgil. The conference saw participation of over 200 delegates who were treated with lectures by experts from world over about different ways of effective sanitation. The conference also had a competition of presentation by young entrepreneurs and students on innovative products and technologies that would help improve sanitation and toilet use in India. The 2nd day morning saw a marathon organized in the western part of Pune city to generate awareness and get positive public image of Rotary.The run was participated by over 450 runners.
