A PI project initiated by PDG Subodh Joshi and hosted by our club saw 30 rotarians participating in the rally that visited practically all Rotary Districts in India. The Rally was well received at all places by the district officers of the concerned district. The rally created positive public image of Rotary due to the press coverage in the local News in the places visited. Some of the places visited include Nasik, Thane, Vapi, Vadodara, Godhra, Bikaner, Udaypur, Sri Ganganagar, Amritsar, Jammu, Pathankot, New Delhi, Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi, Ranchi, Asansol, Kolkata, Visakhapattanm, Guntur, Chennai, Kanniyakumari, Thiruvanantapuram, Kochi, Coimbatore, Mysore, Bengaluru, Hubli, Kolhapur, Karad and back to Pune. The 30 rotarians from RID 3131 covered over 10,000 Kms in 10 cars in 21 days. The rally was flagged off by Pune ATS Chief Bhanuprasad Barage and received by DG Abhay on the new years' eve.
