It is observed that many amateur mountaineers are not aware of safety measures to be taken during mountaineering. This leads to accidents or misshapes. Maharashtra Mountaineers Rescue Co-ordination Centre (MMRCC) an initiative of Giripremi helps them by providing immediate rescue measures with the help of local volunteers. RCP Sarasbaug contributed to this noble cause by sponsoring 200 information display boards highlighting rescue contact number. The boards were installed across Maharashtra near forts & over hilly areas meant for mountaineering. Apart from this essential contribution this activity created good PI for Rotary.
