Launched year long/lifetime Thalassemia Transfusion Service project at Todkar Hospital, Mangalwar Peth today morning. It's a Synergy project of 20clubs The highlights of this project are : 1. Blood for Thalassemia patients will be made easily available free of cost by associated Red Dot Blood Bank while otherwise they have to search at various hospitals every 15 days or so for blood transfusion. 2. Two beds have been reserved for those patients. There will be no bed & doctors cost charged. This is sponsored by Todkar hospital. Patients will save on money and effort by this project. 3. Only cost of medical accessories will have to be paid by patients at subsadized rate. 4. Our role to arrange the blood donation camp with associated blood bank. They will provide 10% blood bags to donors free of cost and additional 10% will be reserved for Thalassemia patients. 5. Please refer to such patients so that they can be benefited.
