The Rotary Club of Pune Ganeshkhind, in association with the KalikaDevi Trust, Budhwar Peth, Pune (a charitable organization) arranged a medical check up camp for the warkaris, the participants of the annual Ashadhi pilgrimage that travels from Alandi to Padharpur. The medical check-up was done with an aim to provent fatigue, Blood pressure problems, stomach upsets or any other condition or ailment that could possibly affect the pilgrims. The check up and medicines were provided by the doctors of the N.M. Sathe Hometopathic College Hospital. About 175 warkaris were screened, checked and given medical help. These patients included senior citizens as well as young pilgrims. Members of RCPG attendedthe project with great enthusiasm. Some members who were present for the [roject were as follows - Rtn. Subhash Mhetre, Ann. Anjali Mhetre, Rtn. Rajendra Achalare (who is also an office bearer of the Kalika Trust and he led the effort in arranging this camp), Rtn Vidya Achalare, Rtn. Prema Kulkarni, Rtn. Babanrao Bondre, Rtn. Sharda Bondre, Rtn. Ravindra Pharnade, Ann. Sunita Pharande, Rtn. Bhaskar Rao Rane etc.
