Our Mega Project of Tree Plantation and Seedball Tossing (A Synergy Project) was conducted at SEAL Ashram, Nere Panvel. In lieu of Van Mahostava, on 1st July 2018 our club in association with other partnering clubs: Rotary Club Panvel Industrial town, Rotary Club Kamothe, Rotary Club Kalamboli, CSI group of ITM Business School planted 500 trees at SEAL Ashram Nere, Panvel. Also, seedballs were tossed around the campus. Around 70 people participated in this great cause. Special workshop on “Seedball Making ” was conducted by Greenathon Navi Mumbai group. This workshop enlightened the participants on the aspect of saving seeds and germinating trees from these seeds. It was a great experience for all of us while hosting the events at SEAL Ashram and experienced the lifestyle of the inmates of the Ashram. About SEAL Ashram (Social & Evangelical Association for Love) is a prominent NGO that houses more than 300 residents who are mostly rescued from road side, abandoned by family members, Kids of HIV infected persons and many Differently Abled person. It is an NGO that rescues needy and helpless people from the streets and railway stations of Mumbai. They rescue people and provide them with shelter, food, clothing, health-care and education at their Ashram located at Panvel. They attempt to trace their families back home. So far, SEAL has reunify 333 people back to their long waiting families to all over India.
