Plantation of Native Indian trees by the members, teachers and students of the school Vidya Vikas Prathamik Shala also known as Swami Vivekanda Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Bibwewadi, Pune, India. We planted Tamarind, Neem, Palash and Peeple trees. The importance of these trees was also explained to them as they give give out more oxygen into the environment. The roots of these trees go deep into the ground thus binding and holding the soil firmly. This prevents them from falling during heavy winds or rain. Nesting of birds is also seen in native Indian trees.
