Science Exhibition was organised at Samparc Vidyalaya Bhambarde. This was 43rd Taluka level Science Exhibition. Around 38 schools from Mulshi taluka participated in it. Dr. Avind Natu from IISER (Indian Institute of Science and Education Research) Pune was the Chief Guest Speaker. He guided the student's about the importance and origin of science. He gave examples to school children about the origin of science like how scientist observed the animal species and developed objects that will be used in our day to today life. In addition, he studied the science experiments brought by the students and gave them tips on to how they can be improved. Since it was a Taluka level Science exhibition, political leaders had also visited the exhibition and appreciated their efforts. The exhibition was visited by students and parents from different schools. On this occasion, the competitions were held among the students like Essay Writing, Questions and Answers on Science and Elocution Competition etc. The best students were selected and were awarded by the chief guest speaker. The Prize winners alog with their school names are 6th std to 8Th std – Sairam Bachaav Waghchaure (Chatrapati Shivaji Vidalya, Paud) 9th std to 12th Std – Shrushti Somnath Indore (Rani Laxmibai Girls Sainik School, KasarAmboli) Essay Writing Competition 6th std to 8Th std – Bhagyashri Janardhan Gairnar (Rani Laxmibai Girls Sainik School, KasarAmboli) 9th std to 12th Std – Jivanraj Subhash Chavan (Samparc Vidayala, Bhambarde) Questions and answers (Quiz time) 6th std to 8Th std – Vaishali Shankar Dhokale and Ekta Dilip Dhaware (Samparc Vidayalaya, Bhambarde) 9th std to 12th Std – Anushaka Pagar and Khushi Tandel (Rani Laxmibai Girls Sainik School, KasarAmboli) Elocution Competition 6th std to 8Th std – Sandhya Suresh Tingre (Chetan Gaikwad Vidyalaya, Bavdhan) 9th std to 12th Std – Aniruddha Dewade (New English School, Mahlunge) The winners were given Trophies, which sponsored by RCP Sahawas. Scientist Dr. Arvind Natu, Political Leaders, Techers, Visitors and Parents applauded the initiative taken by Rotary club of Pune Sahawas in organising taluka level science exhibition. This was 2 day residential science Exhibition. We are planning to host similar science exhibition next year also. Approximately 400 people visited Science exhibition.
