Eye checkup and cataract detection camp for villagers of Mhatobashi Alandi Village with team of doctors from Sane-Guruji Hospital ( SGH) is planned on 9th September, from 10.00 am to 4 pm. The village is about 1.5 hr from Pune with a population of 3500. Patients detected with cataract will be operated later. The camp was orgainized by Rtn Suresh Beri and conducted team of doctors from SGH/Dr Pawar Report : The camp was attended mostly by senior citizens. More than 200 persons were examined . 22 patients were positive for cataract (both eyes), 30 had in one eye and 1 case of squint was detected at the camp.
