INSTITUTION BASED RYLA HELD AT V K JUNIOR COLLAGE PANVEL, ON 1st DECEMBER 2012 4TH Institute based RYLA was conducted at V K JUNIOR COLLAGE PANVEL, on 1st December 2012 from 0830hrs. to 1200 hr.Totally 350 students from 12TH standard of Arts, Commerce & Sciences took Participation along with 3 staff members. We covered three important topics as follows : • Effective Communication skills by Rt. PP Shailesh Palekar(0830 to 0930 ) • Winning mantra from Mahabharata from Rtn. Pres. A M Gawarikar(1000 to 1045 hr. ) • Preparation of resume & Interview techniques by Rtn. PP Anil Ambetkar (1045 Hr. to 1200 Hr.) All the participants shown keen interest in all the subjects. Rotarian Anil Ambetkar gave excellent tips for preparation of simple resume & emphasized that it should be of single page & should never exceed 2 pages. He also gave information on proper dress code for interview & gave list of 10 commonly asked questions during interview. Dr. Rtn. PP Shailesh Palekar started with communication game showing distortion in communication & all participants enjoyed the game & seen distortion in non verbal communications. Different types of communication were explained along with details of verbal & non verbal communications. Rotarian A M Gawarikar gave presentation on winning mantra from Mahabharata explaining following management principles :  Turn your weaknesses into strengths.  Turn enemies into allies.  Share your responsibilities.  Team works scores over Individual Effort.  Right Team = Right set of Individuals.  The right man for the right job.  Commitment scores over Competence.  Team interests over Individual interests..  Know your enemy/challenges. Exploit its weaknesses. Take calculated risks.  The Right Managers : To inspire, invigorate, counsel in crisis .  Know Ground realities. Accept different ideologies. Cooperate.  Empower Women. The Gender Balance is required for stability and administration.
