The challenges that today's youth face are tremendous. Making them prepared for a world outside the classroom is important for making them effective leaders of tomorrow. It is essential for them to change not only themselves but the world.The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) was conducted for students of Mitcon. It was a half day program that covered four sessions on health and fitness (PDG Mahesh Kotbagi), evils of addiction -true recount ( speaker from Muktanagan rehabilitation centre Datta Shrikhande, "Giftlife" organ donation, Head safety -traffic police on importance of wearing helmets . A poster competition was conducted for the students based on these topics and winners were awarded. Nearly 450 students and staff members participated.
