Students of Apte Mukbadhir (Deaf and Dumb) school prepared Rakhis and the same were sold to students of Modern College Pune. Rakhis purchased by students of Modern College were deposited in a container box. Rakhis thus collected were dispatched to Indian soldiers posted in border areas . This is a small gesture of students of both Apte Mukbadhir school and Modern college to show gratitude to Indian soldiers protecting nation's borders.The soldiers from Arunachal Pradesh who have received these Rakhis have sent a letter of acknowledgement and Rs 1000/cheque to Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce.These soldiers mentioned that this money be given to Students' Aid Fund. This project has completed a loop and that is its success.
