Rotary Club kharghar midtown in association with Gyangangam celebrated today worldwide Cane day. Awareness was created among the public to stop the vehicle before zebra crossing so that visually challenge and senior citizen can cross the roads safely. Also a demonstrations was carried out by putting black hanky on eyes and making them cross the road so as to make them understand the agony of blind people. Also high achievers from the blinds were felicitated during the function. Programme was attended by police commissioner of navi mumbai, President rotary Club kharghar midtown, President gyangangam, scouts and guides from various locations were also present. Cooperation was done from local kharghar police to create awareness.
