Rotary Club of Pune Amanora had it's 10th SuhanaSafar event on Sunday, 26th January 2019 at Ashiana Seniority Living, Lavasa. Some of the singers of SuhanaSafar group left for Lavasa early morning inspite the chilly weather prevailing throughout. About 100 senior citizens of the Ashiana township attended the Flag hoisting ceremony and followed by a few patroiatic songs by the young boys and girls of a nearby School in their premises proceeded in the hall to listen songs through Karaoke. The senior most resident of Ashiana delivered a welcome speech. The residents, not only enjoyed the specially selected old songs of 50s, 60s etc. by SuhanaSafar team but also requested the singers to perform some songs of their choice. Over all, it was a wonderful event with lots of cheers and requests from the resudents. Club singer members Rtn.Saraswati Venkat Rtn.Shamim Bootwala and Rtn.Ajit Lilani were present in addition to the other Rotary members Rtn.Abbas, Rtn. Venkat and a few kids attended the event. Being the Republic Day in India, some members of the Club were busy with the other projects. Ashiana Seniority Living offered the breakfast to the club members.
