The syllabus for 4th stad. and 8th std. were changed recently and the students from PuneSchool & Home for Blind Students-Girls faced certain difficulties as the books in braille are going to take time. In order to overcome this hurdle and in order that the students need not waste their precious time, our club undertook a project of providing audio cassettes of all subjects of 4th & 8th std. to these students. About 15 of our anns were involved in recording these cassettes and lent their caring voice for the purpose. A total of 33 cassettes, i.e. about 50 hours of recording was carried out personally by these anns and the gesture helped a great number of students. The project team was led by Ann Rita Kothary, under the able guidance of Director-Service Projects II PP Prakash Karandikar.
