Rural Hospital Chakan isa government hospital with a lot of needs. The funds available from government to meet the needs of the hospital the services a population of nearly 40000 people. One such pressing need is of water. The hospital faces severe water shortage as the Municipal supply is indequate . The government quarters located on the premises also face similar plight. Based on need assessment in 2018, it was decided to provide a borewell in the campus in order that water could be boosted and supplied for various needs.
