Rotary club of Kharghar Midtown in association with ITM Business School’s Rotaractors organised two weeks Rotary Youth leadership Award (RYLA) at Kharghar from 19th November to 1st December . Objective of RYLA was to sensitize our youth with the problems and hardships of lower economic strata of the society. 280 projects were conducted under the follwing heads: Awareness about Cervical cancer vaccinations, Tetanus vaccination for construction site workers (at Metro sites), cleanliness drive, Converting kitchen waste into manure, free dental and general body check up at villages, Personality development and Wash in school training sessions at Zila Parishad schools, Spending some time on the World AIDS day with the inmates of Jyoti Charitable Trust- Kalamboli and organizing a rally to create awareness about AIDS. Several motivational sessions were conducted for the inmates of the Old age homes and Orphanages. These were executed in and around Kharghar area. Through two weeks RYLA.
