Pedagogical Teachers training was Imparted to Primary School Teachers at rural Dhamane (Chakan) There were three session from 8th Dec to 15th December followed by 1 visit from the Dhamane school teachers to the KES school and junior college in Pune, enabling the trainers to demonstrate desired training modules and evaluation programs. Training Sessions & Activities conducted by relevant Teachers included a. Understanding the philosophy of education and changing learning patterns; b. Classroom management & organization of learning experience; c. Activities and low-cost teaching aids for activity-based learning; d. Continuous comprehensive evaluation; e. Use of technology in education e. Designing learning activities and lesson planning for concept formation and development of thinking abilities. F f. Use of teaching aids to make learning interesting and encourage innovation rather than rote learning. g. Classroom management to teach better and acquire and evaluate expected outcomes from the students. h. Provide activities and material for children with special needs & gifted students also. i. Continuous comprehensive evaluation j. Use of technology in education. At the outset, presentations were made to the participating teachers, the village council, parents of pupils; the core- concept, purpose and benefits of Teachers Pedagogy through demonstrations, explaining modern training and learning formats / aids, providing easy to implement ideas for teachers to interact with students from diverse backgrounds, age-groups, capabilities and gender. The program is designed to enable teachers to adapt to needs of growing children, their curiosity and help teachers to enhance students to be mentally alert, emotionally sound, socially competent and ready to learn. The primary education of a child's life is fundamentally important. They are the foundation that shapes children's future health, happiness, growth, development and learning achievement at school and in life in general. Compete report available. The latest impact report produced here : Dhamane School Students Shine in State Scholarship Examinations (April 2019) In its 61 years history, for the first time ever, Dhamane (Taluka Khed) school students have excelled in the State Scholarship Examinations and have shown the pathto success. Three fifth standard students have appeared on the merit list of scholars 1. Miss Akanksha Vikas Kolekar 240 marks (out of 300) 2. Miss Sakshi TanajiBarwekar 226 marks(out of 300) 3. Miss Vanshika Sharad Kolekar 210 marks(out of 300) Our heartiest congratulations to the 3 students (all girls) who were awarded these merit scholarships. We are sure there will be several such ongoing awards coming to the students of Dhamane Primary School for years to come. Keep it up! These students were guided by the district scholarship teacher Mr Maruti Jare& the staff of the ZP Primary School, Dhamane. Rotary has played its part to encourage and provide good facilities through GG1862941 School Renovation Project. NOTE: Each merit scholarship student will receive financial awards of Rs 1500pa for three years (5th through 7th standards)& Excellence Certificate from the state. Pune district provides a bicycle for the meritorious scholars also. Scholarship Exam has 3 papers of 100 marks each. Each paper has duration of 1 hour. The papers are: • Marathi and English • Mathematics and Social Sciences • Intelligence Test and General Science Each paper consists of 50 objective questions of 2 marks each. Almost one hundred thousand students appear for this examination in Pune District, after their 5th standard.
