There are amazing benefits of human-naimal relationship and the miraculous healing effects of animals on humans. Animal Assisted therapy (AAT) is incorporation of trained pets (Therapy Animals) into therapeutic process where the therapy animal works in partnership with a human theapist to provide compassionate and stimulating therapy for recovery. The findings of AAT for children with autism , mental retardation, hperactivity, emotional and behavorial issues , Downs Syndrome , Hearing and visual impairment , physical disabilities is well documented. We conducted an awareness program for members on 16th Oct and spontaneously decided to support the efforts of Animal Angels Foundation the only registered NGO dedicated for this cause. The 4000 children visiting Balkalyan will directly benefit from AAT therapy dogs and fishes. Initially a donation of Rs 20000 was made, later CSR donation of 3.5 lakhs has been obtained for similar cause.
