Flags made of plastic and paper are found littering the streets after 15th August. This even causes chocking of drainages and other health hazards. Most importantly, it is an insult to our national flag. To avoid this RC Pune South introduced a unique idea- Plat A Flag. These flags have seeds of Marigold flowers embedded inside. Instead of throwing away plant these flags in a flower pot, cover with mud and water them. They will grow into beautiful flowering marigold saplings making your Independence Day celebration respectful and eco-friendly. We distributed 2000 such flags to schools, corporates, etc.
