They say Service to humanity is service to god. One of the aspects of serving society is supporting the underpriveleged and needy citizens of tribal villages of India. That being said, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite in association with Robin Hood Army organized a food donation drive on 11th August, 2019. About 10,000 kgs of Rice, Dal, Poha and Mosquito coils, LED Bulbs were distributed at Belavade, Sindhalachi Wadi, Kharabachi Wadi, Rajamachi and 25 other tribal villages in Taluka Pen, Maharashtra. 1110 tribal families benefited from this project. Beneficiaries expressed immense gratitude and happiness and also communicated their needs which we can address in future as well as part of our Happy Village Project.
