We, at Rotary Club of Panvel Elite believe that just like how success breeds more success similarly a noble service breeds more opportunity for service. After a resounding response and memorable success of last 2 year’s mega ENT Camps, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite decided to carry forward this project. In association with RSS Janakalyan Samiti Dr. Prabahakar Patwardhan Smruti Rugnalay, Panvel, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite conducted ENT Camp on 1st and 2nd July, 2019. Rtn. P.P. Dr. Prakash Golecha from Rotary Club of Jaipur East helped us carry out this project successfully and at a significant scale by examining patients. This camp witnessed 150 patients being examined and treated. What made this camp standout from others was that all the treatment was done without surgeries on the spot. The stand-out part of the camp was that a 94-year old’s patient who suffered from hearing loss achieved significant improvement in his hearing on the spot. One of the patients had her ear-drum placed without surgery which brought her hearing sensation when originally, she could not hear anything. Usually it requires Indian Rupees 50,000 for an ear-drum placement; however, we were able to offer this procedure for free without any incision or surgery. That was a big achievement for us as a club.
