So far 51 charity cataract surgeries on ability to pay basis have been completed by Rtn. Dr . Nirmala since 1st July 2019 to till date with the help from Sarpotdar Eye Hospital, Ushahkal Pratishtan and Walawlkar Hospital at Derwan, near Chiplun. 23 surgeries were conducted at Sarpotdar Eye Hospital in Pune and 28 surgeries at Derwan . Since Dr. Nirmala was in USA from 26th July until 27th September , the number of cataract surgeries were less in the first quarter ending September 2019. Total Cost of Project Rs.10,00,000/-
