Children from underprivileged families are neither aware about implications of poor eye sight nor can they afford eye check up. Our endeavor is to reach out to such children and their families to detect eye related problems in early stage and provide remedial measures Our partner for Eye Check-ups is Eye Care Foundation of Dr Gogate and Vision Centre for Cataract surgeries Eye Care Foundation received a gift of Rs 5,50,000 from Rtn Oni’s relative for purchase & repair of Mobile Van being used by RCPD for Eye check-ups. This programme is running for over 10 years and is funded by club initially and through a matching grant during last 3 years. We have so far done 10,000 eye check-ups at various schools and construction sites.
