40 Rotarians and Anns went on a car rally to Goa to promote the message of Swacchha Bharat. The rally left Pune at 6:30 am on 22nd Nov. 2019. At Karad, we had a breakfast meeting with the Rotary Club of Karad. President Rtn. Jagdish Wagh and about 20 Rotarians and Anns of Karad club were present. All along the road to Goa the messaging of Swacchha Bharat on the 10 cars that participated in the rally was observed by people en route. On 23rd Nov., at 9 am we had a joint meeting with Rotary Club Margao Midtown and Rotary Club Margao Sunrise represented by Rtn. Pres. Rajesh Rajan and Rtn. Pres. Renu respectively. About 20 Rotarians belonging to both the clubs were present. Flags and mementos were exchanged, after which Rotarians belonging to all the three clubs proceeded to St. Anthony's High School, Majorda, Goa. The importance of cleanliness was explained to about 100 students of the school which was followed by Rally of these students with Rotarians who were carrying banners and placards to spread the message of Swacchha Bharat. All the participants cleaned the road and nearby areas along the way. The program ended after fruits and sweets were distributed to the students and Rotary memento was presented to the school. The car rally returned back to Pune on 24th Nov. 2019
