Rotary Club of Pune South invested Rs. 20,000 each by way of gift certificates for 50 girls below 5 years of age, from the underprivileged section of the society. This amount will grow to over Rs. 1 lakh and will be available to the girls when they complete 18 years of the age. The idea is to support them in their higher education and endure that they are treated as a respected member of the family. 50 lady rotarians and Anns of Rotary Club of Pune South contributed Rs. 20,000 each from their own earnings to make this project successful.
