Prevention of cervical cancer is social responsibility. Our club has started the initiative of prevention of Cervical cancer by education empowerment and early detection. Complete cervical screening program is started for underprivileged women in village at Panvel Taluka. Cervical cancer is the number two cancer & has one of the highest death rates among Indian women. The most effective and standardized test for screening is HPV DNA test. Once the woman is negative in this test she has 99.9% certainly that she is not at risk of cervical cancer.
