Members of Rotary Club of Kothrud members and their friends collected donations to help the Healthcare workers. Wellbeing of healthcare workers, the doctors and all the hospital staff, is very critical and essential. The hospital staff is most exposed to the COVID 19 virus. With this objective and urgency of the need to provide then with PPE kits and Masks, we have procured and provided then to Staff of Sassoon Hospital in Pune. Sassoon Hospital is the biggest Government recognized hospital for COVID 19 treatment. We have donated 100 PPE kits and 1000 N95 masks. We are happy to note that the funds collection, procurement of material (which was in short supply) from authorized dealers and ensuring it reached the beneficiaries was all done in a span of 14 days. Members of Rotary Club of Kothrud set up a committee of 7 members for the project. The committee met 12 times as the pandemic environment and its needs, as well as our capability to execute the project kept improving.
