190 Children Benefit from Polio Vaccination Project carried out by Panvel Municipal Corporation and volunteered by Rotary Club of Panvel Elite Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 30 years, and Rotary has made incredible progress in the fight to rid the world of it forever. Having said that, On account of Polio Immunization Day on 19th January 2020, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite and Rotaract Club of Panvel Elite volunteered to help administer polio vaccines to children of age 5 and below. Panvel Municipal Corporation – the local civic body who organized the polio Immunization Drive, allocated two location to our club where our members volunteered from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm. The locations allocated were Virupaksh Temple and Bhargav Medical, MG Road, Panvel. 190 children benefitted from this Polio Vaccine Drive.
