In case of medical emergencies giving quick medical help with minimum wastage of time is critical importance. Therefore Rotary Club of Pune South conducted A First Responder Sensitization Programme for the students of IMDR, the management institute of the Deccan Education Society. They were shown the facilities available in 108 Ambulance by the doctors of BVG Group who operate this service. The students were also told the importance of dialing 108 in case of any medical emergency. Doctors of Lokmany Hospital explained to them CPR, the first aid to be given in case of a heart attack. The students were also given basic training in CPR with the help of live demonstration.
