The much awaited RYLA -cum-Career-Counselling Camp was held on the 17th of December 2019 at 10.30am. Over 800 students along with few of their teachers, from 11 schools in Mulshi Taluka assembled at the venue in Village Male. The event of RYLA was a great treat to their ears. It was a great motivation with presence of guiding Gurus to all of the students who will be entering into the vast world of college and career, very soon. The function began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, welcome song (swagat geet) and worship of the Bust of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Rtn. PP Madhubhau Rathi began the proceedings by explaining the purpose of the event. i.e. the awareness about development of leadership qualities in them and how the students could gain by listening carefully to the speakers. Congratulations are in order to PP Madhubhau Rathi and PP Dr. Madhvi Vaze for lining up some very dynamic and inspiring speakers. Mr. Vivek Velankar spoke on Career opportunities after 10th. He is the successful author and RTI activist as well. He threw light on various courses which will help the students to earn their bread without much investment. Mr. Suresh Bhalchim spoke about Careers in ITI and Market Benefits. It was very interesting. Mrs. Sanskrita spoke on Vocational Careers in Beauty and Fashion. In today's world, one has to make the good impression for achieving success in life and that's why external personality matters a lot. She gave few tips about good presentation as well as careers in the fast developing field of fashion and beauty. Dr. Sunil Rao is retired colonel. The students were amazed by listening him. His words created a lot of interest in the young minds for joining the army as medical and para medical professionals and thereby, serving the nation. He gave a lot of information about various army schools etc. and Dr Rao gave valuable information about the other Opportunities in Health Care Industry as well. Mr. Kawade's speech too was very informative, particularly for girls. He advised school girls to think about the noble profession of Nursing and other Opportunities which are very much in need. Our own Rtn. Dr. Madhvi Vaze elaborated on a very useful subject, “Good Health... A Key to a great Leadership." A physically and mentally healthy person can only be a good leader and can be an example for the society. For any work or service, physical stamina and mental strength is required and to achieve this certain principles and certain habits are to be followed from school life. With small, interesting stories, her speech was interesting, entertaining and informative as well. The speakers were felicitated by our President Jinendra Munot. President Jinendra Munot inaugurated and handed over a School Bus to Mavala Prathisthan, Male which was donated by Rtn. Yogesh Shah. This bus is going to be extremely useful for the children who travel a long distance to attend the school with many difficulties, particularly in rainy season. God bless Rtn.
