4000 needy people stranded due to lock-down benefit from Hunger Warriors Synergy Project carried out by 9 Rotary Clubs of Rotary International District 3131 over 17 days as part of COVID-19 Relief Project. The lock-down enforcement as part of measures to curb the Coronavirus pandemic in India meant that many people with daily people struggled to make ends meet in terms of food as they were stranded. In order to offer them a helping hand, 9 Rotary Club of Rotary International District 3131 – Rotary Clubs of Panvel Elite, Panvel Industrial Town, Panvel Central, Kharghar Midtown, Panvel Horizon, Panvel Midtown, Patalganga, Kalamboli and Pune Pristine joined hands in association with Rajasthani Samaj to carry out a hunger warrior project. Food Grains were donated to Gurudwara, Balaji Temple, New Panvel and staff of Hearing Impaired School, New Panvel from 27th April 2020 to 13th May 2020. Food packets to over 4000 needy stranded people were distributed through community kitchen. They say, “Unity is strengthâ€. This project surely reflected the strength of synergy of Rotary Clubs to serve the humanity.
