Rotary International had initiated vouch to improve the Educational Standard in the World under their “Happy School” initiatives. Rotary Club of Pune Wisdom proposes to revamp the basic amenities and provide better infrastructure to Ideal English School under “Happy School” initiatives. Rotary Club of Pune Wisdom has decided to perform this service project under “Happy School”. The students are our future, it we all can provide the better facilities in the Schools then we can expect more students can join the school from the BPL families. These initiatives can reduce the number of drop outs from the school and improve the quality of education to these students. For the purpose, survey has been done at various schools and finally Ideal English School has been selected. Ideal English School is centrally located in the Pune City at 511, Shaniwar Peth which is managed under Ideal Education Society, a 78 years old Educational Institute along with Pune Zillah Parishad. This school is providing education from 1st standard to 10th standard. The Total strength of the school is about 500 students but presently occupied seats are 225 students, who are from very poor background. Most of the parents are casual labourers from the slum areas like Patil Estate (wakadewadi), Kamgar Putala. All students are getting free education. We appeal to our friends, well-wishers and our society to support for this noble cause education for needy students. All Donations made for this cause will come under section 80G.
