MAMMOGRAPHY TEST CAMP I) Name of the Projects and avenue of work: Mammography Test Camp for Women’s 22nd November. 2014 (Venue –Dr.Reges Hospital Chamberli) ii) Need Assessment: Day by Day Cancer is spreading on large scale in India .Due to awareness we came to know the depth of it .Hence it is necessary to conduct such type of camp. iii) Beneficiaries: 42 Nos. iv) Number of Rotarians participated and involved: 9 Rotarians 12 annes, v) Other participant institutions (NGOs, Govt and /or Non Govt Agencies, Individuals etc): Dr. Satish Advanis trust Helping Hands 4 Cancer Care Patients. Mumbai vi) Cost of the Projects and resources engaged: /- Rs.35600.00 vii) Sustainability: By doing this project awareness in women’s increased & other women’s came forward for this test. By doing this project cancer can be detected & if any case found treatment can be given. viii) Enhancement of Public Image and publicity in Community: By contacting Doctors in our area & distributing hand bills &by giving article in local newspaper.
