TEACH Program – The Literacy Mission E-Learning – RDEP Installation RDEP is a major program for District 3131 in its endeavors to provide better education to children. In this effort, RC Pune University took its first step of the year 2014-15 by providing an RDEP system to New English Medium School at Navi Peth, Pune. Located in the heart of the city’s congested area, the school is run by a dedicated team of teachers and managers. The system became operational in the last week of July’14 and was formally inaugurated on 7th August by RCPU President Dileep Paranjpye, together with Secretary Sharang Pande, First Lady Shobhana, Director – Youth Services PP Rekha Patil, Director – TRF Rahul Meher and PP Pradip Patil. Star of the program was Rtn. Sunil Joshi who had handled the entire responsibility of finance, procurement and installation of the system. Speaking on the occasion, President Dileep said he was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the little children. RDEP tells about History, Geography, Maths, Science and many other subjects in an enjoyable manner, and children will surely benefit from it over and above what they learn in their classroom.
