India faces a lost generation as Coronavirus worsens an already bad child-labour problem. For many underprivileged children completing an academic year has become a big challenge as they do not have access to online learning systems. If left on their own these children will drop out of school and then be pulled into child labour. Rotary Club of Pune Amanora has ensured that 1300 children from the slums get help to complete their academic year. We are extremely grateful to our CSR partner Kubota for making this possible by donating funds to the tune of 25 lakhs. The project is being handled by the NGO Spherule. The project was kicked off today in a slum in Wagholi.
