A Blood donation camp was organised by our club at the premises of Tata AutoComp Ltd. at Hinjewadi Phase II., and was conducted by a team from Aditya Birla Hospital from 10 am to 4 pm. Rtn. PP Manju Prasad, Director Medical Service Projects was instrumental in coordinating the efforts. Members from Inner Wheel Club of Khadki, led by their President Charu Mathur also volunteered to ensure that the camp was a success. The employees of Tata AutoComp came forward in large numbers and donated blood. Apart from this, many members from our own Rotary family donated blood. First lady Charu Mathur, Ann Maya Gupta and Annet Pooja and Abhishek Gupta also came forward to donate blood. A total of 57 units of blood were collected, while 12 donors who came forward could not donate blood due to, technical reasons. Kudos to all the donors. Our special thanks to Rtn PP Arvind Goel for helping organise the camp. This started off our Rotary year with a meaningful contribution.
