On Wednesday, 21st July, President, Director Environment and Secretary , Rotary club of Pune Sinhagad Road went to Hotale village Primary school in order to begin the tree plantation process. There was very heavy rain as expected and the villagers were happy about it too. For us, it was a unique experience to walk about in the rain and plant the saplings. We planted 15 coconut trees, 2 hibiscus, 4 sonchafa and the rest- Moringa(shevga), Jambhul,Amla,Mango, ArecaPalm and many flowering plants will be done by the students ,villagers and teachers The school teacher and children were very helpful and these plants are going be a part of their Nature Club. They have prepared charts and posters as an Environment science activity. The teachers have taken it up as a task to educate the little kids about various medicinal plants that we have gifted them like tulsi, aloe Vera, lemon grass
